Solution

Today, technology plays an important role in the nursing profession. The American Nurses Association (ANA) has presented Nursing Informatics as a specialty that integrates nursing, computer, and information science to provide data communication management, knowledge, and improvement of quality nursing care outcomes. A primary way that informatics is used through nursing practice is computerized documentation systems. Applications used in everyday nursing practice such as electronic health records, electronic medication administration, and order-entry enable fast access to reliable patient information that are essential for clinical decision-making during care. These evidence-informed resources allow us to record patient out come data such as adverse events and a patients’ length of stay which are both important for statistics for evaluating the impact of care (Kleib, 2016)….Kindly click the purchase icon to purchase the full solution at $5
