Provide a brief synopsis of the study. The purpose of the research study in this article was to examine the experiences of nursing students as they communicate with family members of their patients. This was a qualitative study and data was collected using in-depth interviews with 21 undergraduate nursing students and 21 graduate nursing students in Hong Kong. The second idea was that nurse-family communication brought on many emotions like happiness, anger, sadness, and anxiety. The study also found that nursing school curriculum needs to include family and patient communication skills.
